222 222 267 ball is so sweet first shift conditions. only change i needed
was for the 3rd game i played a slight inside line instead of straight down
and in. this ball goes on my list of all time great balls because of
a. repeatability
b. hitting power
c. controllability
i dont ever have to move very much when i use this sweetheart and yes
i am buying the one Steve has and putting the same exact drill on it
because it is great. i alternate between using my tl and my energy
and sometimes i throw another companies ball but it is basically
dyno for me
cheers

Thing Lives is one of my favorite balls of the 150 or so balls I have thrown in the last few years. Like you said, it is very predictable and controlable. I have not thrown mine since last fall season but if I were to pick it back up tonight I know exactly what it will do. Mine is drilled with the pin 2-1/2" from pap right of the ring and the cg is 2-1/4 from pap. Very smooth yet strong ball!!

amen !! mine has the pin to the right of the ring about 2 inches over it
and i think the cg is stacked underneath, probably about a 4 x 4
layout to the pap with a wt hole about 6 inches out on the midline.
thats the thing about this thing u dont throw it for a while and yet
u pick it up and its like u never stopped throwing it. i hope
one of the new releases is really a tl under a new name hint hint lol.

I love mine as well. My first DT ball and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Shot my own high series of 671 with it a few weeks ago.

Did it again, going 220-246-216 for 682. A pair of real light hits to open the third game gave me 2-8-10 and 2-4-10 splits and pretty much ruined any realistic shot at 700, but damn, I love that ball.

Have not even gotten the Energy drilled yet.
I'm going on Monday with two other guys who also have stuff to drill. I'm thinking about going with 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 like the one you've got for sale.
I've never had two of the same ball before. Dunno what I'd do with another one. Put it in the closet, I guess. But it'd drive me nuts, just sitting there undrilled. I don't know how some of you guys do it.
