This is one of the HUGE misunderstandings in all of bowling.
It doesn't make much difference how much more or less a ball hooks than another ball. It's what oil amount or range of oil amounts that the ball will handle. The Anomaly and the Inferno are for two really different oil amounts or ranges. The Inferno handles medium-light to medium and the Anomaly handles medium-heavy to heavy (or is supposed to). SO there's little chance of overlap between these two balls.
Fow whatever it may possibly be worth to you, when used on their most appropriate oil patterns for the bowler's style of delivery, I'd guess both would hook a whole damned lot. If you used the Inferno were used on the Anomaly's pattern, it wouldn't hook much; if the Anomaly were used on the Inferno's apporpriate oil pattern, it would probably burn itself up in the heads and/or the midlane (unless it were highly polished) and it would not hook much.
