Title: Ball for dry lanes
Post by: Fatboy8 on March 01, 2004, 05:23:20 PM
I need help finding a good ball for dry lanes. I have an Icon 300 and Reaction Rev for medium to heavy oil, but when the lanes dry out, they are too much. what's a good ball for the dry lane conditions? would a purple power groove work O.K.? thanks.

A good ball for dry lanes would be one of the storm big hit balls. They have a low flare potential.

Hey~ I talked to Jefferys and he suggested a Sonic X from Roto Grip.  I love
this ball.  It skates through the dry heads (where I bowl at the heads are
fried)  and has a very controllable arc.  I really don't like those skid flip
balls but thats your choice.  Good luck at your choice.

Hey Just Bowl~ Have you ever tried the Stinger Low Flair?  Don't its a piece of crap.  I drilled it the same way as my sonic X and the Sonic arc much better than the stinger.   What ever you do don't get that stinger.  Have you tried the Boom yet?  The Sonic is my very first Roto grip ball.
