It is in the Vendetta series.  It is symetrical.  You can see it here:

It's a strong ball on medium lanes.... could play up the boards on heavier oil.  It is half solid  and half pearlized.

Kind of like a Hybrid ball huh.

Cool. Thanks guys.

I think i might try one out.

I have never thrown a Dynothane ball but the reaction does look similar to
Storm and Rotogrip.

I drilled and threw four of the Magnum 44s.  I love each one, they do dofferent things but all of them are very controllable and hit very hard, even at 14 pounds.  You'll really enjoy getting a lot of use from them.  I recommend them highly!   FRAN

Hey Jonathon, The guys might have to help me on this, but the half solid and half pearl is not really like a Hybrid Coverstock.  The best way for me to describe it is:
If you mix yellow and blue paint you get green paint.  It changes to a completely new object.  That is more like a hybrid coverstock where on some molecular level the solid and pearl additives become one and together create something different than the two parts.  The Lane1 Hybrid Dirty Bomb is a single color solid looking ball for instance.
A Half Solid Half Pearl mixture is more like Oil and Viniger.  When you mix them together they never truly combine.  You can always see a seperation between them.  Especially on the CM, you can definitely tell where the sold and pearl are on the ball.  If you see a picture of a CM, the blue is Pearl and the Red is solid.

IMO Dynothane truly puts more RandD and thought behind every release than most manufacturers.  They are very smart about ball design, not to mention what and when they release balls.  You will never find them flooding the market with dozens of balls.  As for the 44, it went int the gap for a low RG ball for Med-Heavy.  The .357 when it comes out will be a low RG Pearl that will absolutely smoke the Equation which people are startng to buzz about.

Definitely give one a shot, you will not be dissapointed.

Have to interject that I watched Fran Bax throw the Mag 44's in a Tuesday Shootout League last week. Could not believe the pin action this "Old Guy" was getting!

The shot he was on was no THS, and he seemed to create some area where others struggled. Having mostly Big B in my arsenal at present, he has me wanting to try some Dyno again (last was the RevX).

BTW....Fran nice to see you again and look forward to competing against you soon!
