Title: Dyno-thane New Ball Vendetta 44 Magnum, Now Online
Post by: bamaster on April 05, 2006, 01:55:22 PM
Took me a while, but I finally got around to it.  Check out the site and take a gander.

New shell and lower RG.  Personally, I'm excited.  Should be a nice addition to the Vendetta line.  If things go well, I'll bet the next Vendettas take on these specs.

I also updated the Reaction Guides.

Might have to delete your cache to see the updated reactions.

You might want to tweak the reaction charts, looks like everything's going to take out the 7-pin. Or the lane charts must show hook potential for really dry lanes!

Oops!  A little technical difficulty.

Ok, it's fixed now.

YAY!

Updated reaction charts...hmm... interesting.

The ZR40 and CM lines look pretty similar to how mine react(With the CM @ 2000)

My Pure Energy covers more boards than both of those tho, and if I tried to throw my polished High Energy according to the chart I'd be lucky if it hit the 7.  I'm not really sure why but my High Energy absolutely snaps off the breakpoint.  Was playing with my right foot on the 30, throwing across about the 4th arrow out to the 5 board, and snapping back to the pocket in about the last 10-15 feet of the lane.

Yes I did leave a solid 9 or two , and got asked if my ball was legal...

Yeah. You know, I had a guy in Jackson county. He had a little drum circle in his backyard. It turned into a drum circle four miles in diameter. You get a few hippies playing drums and next thing you know, you got yourself a colony.

nothing special...

Pin under ring, cg kicked, and a small (1/2 inch diameter) weighthole on the val.

My zr40 is drilled stronger with no wieghthole, and my CM is drilled basically the same.

I'm just taking a stab here.  Would the 44 magnum probably be closer to ebonite's the one.  The reaction and hook chart look about what the one would be.  Just curious because if so I'm going to be disapointed I didn't wait for this one.

In a terrible slump now.  Average is down 20 pins over last year because I can't carry anything.  Not even Dyno-Thane can help.

Yesterday, the Vendetta Black Solid and Sniper were really close. Today they are different, considerably.

Why is the VMaxx show the ball going straight up 15 ?

Yeah..they kinda have the same thing going with the Pure Energy...from my experience both balls can and will hook a lot more than that on most conditions.  I can also say that when there is enough oil and you can play the line shown with the Pure, you can  carry just about anything from super light to super heavy almost beak shots.

From the specs it certainly seems that the Magnum would be the Vendetta most similar in overall reaction to the One.  There are however some soaker balls that are more similar (depending on layout and prep).  High Energy (at least mine), CM, and Energy can all be pretty comparable to the One I'd imagine.

Yeah, I think it's a good looking ball, too.  I prefer dark equipment for some reason.  I'm dying to match this ball up with the Vendetta Black.  I'm really looking for something else to fall in love with.

Tip 1: If you don't have a Vendetta Black yet, get one.
Tip 2: If you don't have an Element Zr40 yet, get one.
