Dynothane Carry? Sure does!
« on: December 01, 2004, 12:24:03 PM »
I've heard about it and finally witnessed it tonight when I shot my high game of 279!  Light or heavy, it didn't really seem to matter much, I was killing all 10.  Well at least I was until the 10th frame and Mr. 7 Pin decided he wanted to stick around for another ball.  Stubborn pin!

I finally know what all you guys are talking about when you have the front 9+ and are trying for a 300!  I'm just glad I don't have a complex game.  I don't think i could have asked my body to do too much to the ball after the 7th frame. I don't do a lot to the ball and instead of having a horrid split or something like that I only had a 7 pin to take out.

Maybe I can get lucky again tomorrow, I sure didn't feel like all 9 of the front 9 were perfect, but I sure knocked 'em all down!

Had my Thing Returns for 1/2 of last season and start of this season. Ball helped me raise my average 6 pins at the end of last year which is tough to do that late in the year. My average is usually somewhere between 185-195 the last few years and started out this year pretty much the same. But I noticed my ball wasn't getting the length and was hooking too hard too early. Didn't have any series below 545, but only had one series over 600 (693) to show for it this year. So I took my ball to be resurfaced and polished back up to 1000 grit like the factory finish. What a difference! Carries much better, light, heavy, brooklyn, you name it. Both series since refinishing it are over 600 with a 688 series-279 high game(solid 10 pin first ball in the 10th)last week, 3 of the games have been 230+. I agree! They sure are great carrying balls when they're set up right!!
