Title: Dynothane Customer Service......Terrible
Post by: Charles on September 21, 2006, 07:33:37 AM
I have been trying to contact them for awhile now in reference to the problem with my Tour Ultra Shoues and they refuse to return all correspondence. Funny thing is the message after you send them a message on their website says "Thank you. Your message will be given PROMPT attention."     How freakin funny. I might be going to Etonic or back to Dexter. Right now, I highly recommend to stay away from them due to their poor customer service.

Wow first time I've heard that, I'm sure if you call the office and ask for Billy you'll get great service. We get a few hundred emails a week so maybe your just down on the list. a phone call usually works best and worst case you can leave a voice message.
I'm surprised to see your comment that we "refuse to return your correspondence", I'd have to say that is a streching assumption. A more logical assumption should be that we did not get to your request yet. It make it sound like we simply singled you out, which I know is not the case.

several points here should be addressed:
1) trying to contact for some time- How long and how many times?
2) method of contact- a great source for contacting is the phone, e-mials leave too much to chance. If the issue needs immediate attention a phone call works best.

well, when I click on Contact Us on your site, there is no number available. Just the same lame form that says it will be given "prompt attention." Not getting to it in a prompt manner after that statement is the obvious problem. How is the average Joe to know what the reasoning is? I do not feel my statement is a stretch at this point. Customner Service from your company leaves alot to be desired. This isn't the first time I have had this problem with your company!!

I would like to thank the both of you for pointing out an issue we can address. Your lucid responses are appreciated. The customer service phone number is toll free 1-877-828-7177. I'm sure a phone call can expidate any pending issues. Please ask for Billy when you call.
I do not operate my business from a forum, I simply turned over your request for attention to customer service. We are present on this forum as a service, to answer questions and give assistence regarding product not to solve personal issues. I'm sorry you did not get a timely response from you email on our web site.

The few times I have needed assistance from DT I received
a reply within a few days from both newguy and otherguy.
Also tekneek and bamaster both seem to go out of their
way to help out with the few questions I have had. I just
wanted to post my experiences which have been more than
satisfactory.  It seems very often that negative instances
are posted in so many forums on this site but not to many of the good
experiences.  Thanks to the above mentioned people.

I know it's tough but Dyno-thane is still a "small ball company".  Being small isn't the problem, as most small companies excel in customer service.  Dyno-thane, however, is experiencing unprecedented record sales and is admitedly having challenges keeping up with product fulfillment.  (This without a doubt is one of the reasons why DT is no longer with Storm, as they couldn't manufacture equipment fast enough)

Between the success of the 44/357 Magnums, Threshold and the off-the-chart demand of the DynoRooz shoes, the DT team is doing their best.  Even I as a staffer have seen the impact.

Hopefully this thread will result in added staff to help Billy.  Thanks for your patience Charles.  All of the Dyno-thane family appreciate the support.

I had an excelent customer service experience with D/T a few months back. I called Billy the first time and then communicated through email for a day or so. He had the issue resolved in no time and responded very quickly. I was impressed. I think since they changed to c300 plant they are just struggling to get everything setup and running smoothly again. Like others have said, give them a toll free call and you will get answers faster.

it takes time to make the adjustment for all, Billy has been struggling playing catch up since the move. He's been spending more time in the warehouse trying to get inventory straight and getting the shipping dept on his page. I'm sure things will be back to the norm shortly. I'm beginning to get concerned over his state of mind, if he still has one.LOL He has been having reacurring nightmares, of being trapped behind the steel doors in the warehouse, saying "help I can't get out" LOL

You know!

I think every company has growing pains. The idea is that as a customer you look for a response. Dynothane has always stood by what the say! The entire staff, including the new customer service staff, will continue to grow and perform at the level we all expect.

charles,

Just put Dead Meat on ignore so you don't have to read his worthless posts... I have no clue how he threw me under the bus on this post as I have not posted ANYTHING in regards to this issue.. That right there tells me hs is just a troll that loves to take jabs at other users he knows absolutely nothing about..

If he does come to Dallas, he can look me up too and I am sure g_thing would love to take some of his money as well..

14# scares you?  Huh, sounds like an excuse. Newbie with a big mouth is all you are. A troll to these forums. Hey if you think you can take the beating those 14# balls will give you, put your money where your mouth is. People know me, who are you?
jkiser, save money? haha. That's funny. He makes more money in a week than you do in a month so why would he need to save money. He offered up a challenge just like myself and all I see is you talking but not stepping up to back it up!!!

Charles,

I am sure Dead Meat is just a kid with nothing more than his PC to talk too..

Like I said before, I am sure myself, you and g_thing could take all his money on the lanes and teach him that being disrespectful and having a big mouth is not a very nice way to be..

But I don't have to worry about reading his worthless posts as he has gone to the top of my "ignored users" list.. LOL!!

I had my issues resolved with my energy ball, in less than a month after contacting. I was actually pretty impressed. I don't think they are ignoring you on purpose they seemed like nice guys. Probably busy. But sometimes you need to rattle some cages to get the ball rolling so to speak. It just happens that way sometimes no matter who it is. Dynothane, cable company whomever. Sounds like they have gotten your point. Hopefully they hook you up like they did me. But now I think i have a CM coverstock issue . LOL

How come you did not handle your warranty issues through your pro shop or place of purchase?  They in turn deal with their distributor.  That is the easiest and fastest way for all involved.  Easier for Dynothane to deal with a few distributors than thousands of customers.

I can't speak for everyone but sometimes online dealers are harder to get working than the manufacturer.

I have been in contact with Dynothane regarding Tour Ultras.  Billy replied to my email within a day or so.  There was a slight problem due to the order getting lost, but a second call to customer service after the shoes did not arrive when promised fixed the problem.  There was a problem with the order, but I was on the telephone with customer service today and the problem is being resolved.

Even though things did not go smoothly, customer service has been responsive to the problems.
