I usually come on here and describe my 'good' bowling tournaments and/or experiences. This weekend I bowled a Senior scratch tournamnet in Ft Worth Tx. We had about 100 entries, with big names like Ozio, Eagle, and all the local stars. I've never had a worse tournament. Not only did I execute bad, the lane conditions, and oil pattern took me completly out of my game. This is an old wood house in need of resurfacing. The heads are in terrible shape, and the right side tracked up in practice. I was handcuffed for 16 games. I tried 10 balls, every release I could think of, and got ran over by 80% of the field...
Trying to bowl using a 'C' game is very frustrating. My ball hooked at my feet, either went too long or too short, of hit like a feather duster...while I watched guys throw straight and hard, or loft and spin, beat me like a cheap drum...I got a real dose of reality. So it's sometimes not very much fun, just suck it up,..try and learn a little bit,..and try again. jime
