Element-------
« on: October 23, 2003, 07:22:06 AM »
I have wanted to try the Element since I bought the THING. I loved the THING and with the Element being a ball that rolls up a little sooner, I was very interested.

I recently acquired on in a trade (I didn't want to spend the money on a ball that is such an unknown to me), and got a chance to use it tonight for the first time. The conditions were really not meant to have this ball thrown, but I had my mind made up.

38ft oil, buffed to 43, and completely BONE backends. I loved the movement off of the dry boards. Very smooth. I should have bought this ball sooner. I know, I only have 3 games on it so far, but I see it as being very useable. It got down the lane really well, and it tremendous at the pins. VERY HARD impact. SO far I like every bit as much as the THING. Time will tell if it stays up there with it, but currently it will be a ball I use ALOT.

I still have a wish to see the soaker------in a particle(if it is possible) with either this core, or the THING's core.

Please tell me if the Element will handle more oil and will hook more than The Thing.

Sir Bowls alot....

The Element for me was about 4-5 ft soonder, and must less angular at the breakpoint. Definately worth having if you have the THING and like it.

new guy,

I had inferred that coverstock of Element and The Thing was the same until now.

What is "pearl" ?  clear low friction reactive resin or urethane , polyester ??
