ELEMENT AU 79
« on: October 24, 2005, 05:06:29 AM »
I Have my AU79 dulled right now,and I normally use it for Heavy Oil, but I just purchased the Maxx and I like it in Heavy Oil a little better than the AU79. I was thinking about putting a high gloss shine on the AU79 for Med-light oil. Does anyone think that putting a high gloss shine will work for Med-light oil, or is the AU79 just to strong for that?

WHy not start with a light polish and see how well or badly it reacts?
Take it down in stages, maybe just 2. Polish is often related to pin position (drilling); sometimes going from dull to high gloss may need a redrilling or some other adjustment, like a weight hole. Hard to predict.

Why I say that is I added a bunch of polish to mine and now feel like I should lower the pin position a little bit to coordinate with the greater skid AND FLIP!
