I order one of these cause i need a good checkmark ball and i was told this is the best one on the market... What do u guys think?? I am gonna drill it with pin over my fingers in the middle of them... I was told this thing when it hits dry will come back from anywhere ... Should go long and snap hard let me know what u think... I currently havea  couple of track balls and this will be my first dyno thane ball...

I know that ... I'm just looking for a ball that can do a checkmark under right conditions..

personally i use my thing as a benchmark ball. but yah it wouldent be bad

Not benchmark... I said checkmark... as in goes very long and snaps very hard...

It would have more to do with the layout and your lane conditions, of course.  The ball is pearlized, so naturally it will go pretty long.  It is a Soaker reactive, which is fairly strong, so when it sniffs the dry it will make its move.

I didn't find it to be an extremely angular ball, but very few balls do that for me with my game.  My pro shop guy, Mike Austin, also thinks this is an angular ball.

If you have the hand, it should meet your expectations.

A checkmark is exactly how it sounds... ball goes out and turns on a dime very angular... I was thinking of drilling it with the pin over the midde of the fingers and the cg in the palm or slightly kicked out...  With this give me the look i want ...

I tried pitching the balance hole 1.5 inches away from center of grip on my VAL... The torque is WOW squared... I had to knock off the polish to eliminate over/under...  I consider it angular in box with standard leverage drilling. Would flip earlier than the Thing Returns with same leverage drill pattern I would think.

I have had good sucess with my 79, drilled 4x4, 2-1/2" pin, pin over ring, pap 5-3/8 x 3/8 up. On mediums to light heavy it is very predictible, clean up front with a very angular move at 45 feet on clean backends, yet not a skid/snap. Used it last night, 684, 4 opens, 2 splits and two wiffed 10's.
Good ball for medium oil with fresh clean backends.
