Element AU79 Color
« on: November 08, 2004, 01:06:11 AM »
This is going out to the guys who currently own or have actually seen an Element AU79.

Seems like the color on this ball is WAAAY different from what is being shown on the Dynothane website. My Au79 (which I got from an online proshop) hardly has any gold/yellow patches on it and looks more like a pearlized maroon hammer spike. But apart from the unusual color, the specs were exactly what I wanted. Before I go drill this weapon up tommorow I'd like to ask if this is the expected color for this particular model coz I kinda expected it have an even mixture of gold+red like in the pic. I've found some screenshots of the AU79 below, and mine doesn't look like any of them:

This site also has actual photos of other bowling balls.

What do you think?

Mine are much more swirley than the one on DT's website too.  Those photos are taken from pre-production (most likely hand poured) balls.

Mine look most like the third link above.  Maybe a little more separation.

Mine looks a lot like the one in the third picture you linked to.  It has quite a bit of gold in it. Very attractive ball.

I was gonna put up a picture of it, but the dang batteries in my camera died...

Are you men, gay decorators or women trying to match up an ensemble, whatever the heck that is?

Who cares what color the damned ball is?
If I can get used to a Raspberry Buzzsaw (which was freaking PINK!) and to the clown ball, the Intense Inferno, then anyone can get used to any color ball!

Give it up and bowl for heaven's sake!!!!

Pink is a power color. You better be able to bowl when you use PINK!
