Element Cover change

Has anyone sanded an Element to 400 or 320? Sanded it to 600 and looking for a lit bit more reaction. It was OK but throwing on a wet 31 unitsof oil on a long sport condition. Will there be too much backend loss?

Yeah, I have to agree.
If you need the Element at less than 600 grit, seriously think about a different ball and type of ball: Vendetta Particle is very inexpensive.

Thanks for all your help, was trying down 15 and was leaving 5 or 5 & 7. Moved out to 10 and piking it straight in. Getting an Ok reaction. So is this a restriction of the cover? Can not tweak it below 600?
