Element Zr40 ?
« on: August 01, 2006, 11:02:59 AM »
How does this ball compare to the Vendetta pearl.I have used alot of Dyno stuff over the years but it has been a little while since i have bought one.Is this ball longer and smoother than the V pearl or are they about the same in reaction.I have had both Elements in the past and both V pearls plus the crisis and the barrage and anomoly. So i am familar with the soakers and such.I bought a One last year just because i got a good deal{also it is tough to get dyno down here} and i love it but i still rather throw dyno when i am able to get them.I need a good step down from The one.

For me the Zr40 reminded me of a Polished V2 with it's control, mid-lane read and hard arcing motion.  Personally I thought it was a really great benchmark ball when I first got it...but the Dyno boys just had to come out with the 44 Magnum, which I've fallen in love with.

I have 2 ZR-40's and a Vendetta Pearl. The Vendetta is definatly longer and much more violent at the breakpoint.   The ZR-40 is very smooth yet strong. great benchmark ball for me. I have one pin above fingers and 1 pin below so unless i'm bowling somewhere i know is flooded or torched they are first out of the bag
