Vendetta Black Solid Surface Adjustment
« on: June 23, 2005, 08:18:06 AM »
This is my first time interacting with Dynothane so I figured I would ask all of their loyal customers for some help.  I was looking to put together a versatile 2 ball arsenal for the coming winter leagues.  So far, it looks like I am going to drill a Storm Vertigo for heavier conditions, probably a 4 1/2" from PAP drilling with the MB on my track for some hard arc.  For my medium ball, I was looking into the Vendetta Black Solid.  Only problem I have with this combination is that they're both 800 Matte finishes.  Can anyone tell me how the vendetta rolls with a little polish added, perhaps even the surface adjusted to 1000 grit, or any other ideas anybody might have.  I want to have 1 ball that is polished and will be there for a little more length when needed, but still have that vendetta versatile arc.

I've had very good success polishing my Vendetta Black and I've used a number of products on it. Most recently I've used Storm Step 3 or Degree 2000 (by hand)on the Black and I like both. I get a little more length but retain the smooth backend and hitting power that makes the Black my favorite ball for medium conditions. The ball polishes very easily - just don't over do it or you may end up losing more backend reaction than you want.

Good luck!
