my ex has an ebonite THE ONE weighs 13lb with pin to right and maybe 1/4 inch up. dont know exact drill. she throws with medium speed but has lower revs. she likes to throw 7 to 5 and hit pocket. shes looking for something to swing, about 12 to 5. now with this ball sometimes it will die bc of low revs and barely make it to pocket but if she moves in straight thru the headpin. she battles this over under quite a bit. im looking for something that has better reaction and is able to get back to pocket for her. now i found THE THING and THING REURNs on bowlinggods.com in her weight range. im leaning towards THE THING, what info could you guys give me. sorry i dont know her actual stats but maybe just a smart opinion can help. by way we bowl on a stronger house shot with a littl more oil on outside than usual and wooden lanes. also if you could give an idea of  a drill pattern and pin lenght. thanx in advance.

i would have her try a threshold it works great on heavier oil if she cant swing the threshold out and have it come back  there is not much that she will be able to swing this ball is a hooking beast give it a try she wont be dissappointed not big on drill lingo just have the pro shop drill aggressive

yeah I would have to think that the thing might be a good choice, but I think I might look at the vendetta sniper, great backend and a pearl particle which gives nice length yet has good traction, and pops in the back pretty nicely
