First Element vs AU79
« on: January 10, 2006, 03:50:33 PM »
Just picked up an original Element off Ebay and was wondering if you guys could give me some insights on what to expect from it as compared to and AU79 which I have already, and also any suggestions on good drilling options for me.
I like my AU79, but it typically skids too far at the house I bowl league at.
Sorry I can't give specs for the AU79, but It's a blem, and I honestly don't know them.

I'm a Stroker/Tweener with Decent Revs with about a 14 to 15 ball speed.

Thanks in Advance

the original is a solid where the Au79 is a blend, solid/pearl ...the original should be sooner....read the lane sooner and have a little less backend...mind you...if both are drilled the same....should be a nice 1-2 punch

My knock on the Original was it was very cover strong in the OOB condition,..I had to change the surface to get the ball down the lane on most shots I see,..plus I was never a fan of the color,..the Au79 is one of (if not the best) balls I have to move deep and really open up the lanes,..jim
