My guess is that, based on my use of a Crisis for a short period of time (the drilling may have been less than appropriate, 1:30 with pin above and to the right of the ring finger.), it could act like a very mild pearl, as it came out of the box. Mine was very flippy and almost allergic to oil. It almost seemed like a pearl at times. I gave up on mine too early and sold it off.

Plus I never saw very many people use one. It may not have been marketed well at that time, 2000/2001.

Even now, between the Barrage, the solid, but 2000 grit polished solid Crisis and the new all pearl Vendetta, I'd be surpised if DT people think there is a gap in there to place a Crisis pearl. I've bee surprised before ...
