how to drill new thing returns

Ball specs
15lbs
3-4" pin
2.3-3.5 top

Bowling on synthetic lanes i want this ball to have a nice sharp arc though the pocket

my old one is 16lbs drilled like this

strike strike strike, could play any whare with it down 5 or over 25 ball was mazing it was 5x4.5 my pap is 4 3/4 and 1/2 up had a strong arc to it too very perdictable

I agree.  Never mess with a winning formula.

Besides, your new Thing Returns will be more angular than your old one due to the simple fact that it's fresh surface.  Your old one has some wear and track giving it more "tread" through the midlane.

Take your old one and play with surface.  It's a great idea to have two of the same ball and layout, with different surfaces to tweak reaction.

I was told of a story of Parker Bohn (not sure how true it is).  He'd drill three or four of the exact same ball with same layout.  He'd scuff them all up, then throw one in the Luster King for two minutes... the second ball in for five minutes... the third ball in for ten, and the last ball in for twenty.  Allegedly, this gave him all the "looks" he needed, since he's concerned with when the ball makes its move.

yah my last one has about about 800 games on it and pluged about 2 times lol thats why i baught a new one and ill stillbuy other ones lol
