Is the Crisis DT's answer to the Hot Rod Pro Stock?

OR

Since the Crisis has been out since 2000, is the Hot Wire/Hot ROd Pro Stock Storm's answer to the Crisis???

Old ball, great ball.  It's more along the lines of a smoother Too Hot, but not as aggressive as an Ultra Hot IMO.  Hotwire and Pro Stock are way more aggressive. The Crisis is under those.

That was my original opinion based on my 2000 Crisis. There's another here with whom I have been chatting off-line. His experience is that the current Crisis has a stronger cover.

I wonder if DT is using a stronger cover than they did in the 2000 version of the Crisis. bamaster (Tony) implied that the current Crisis uses the same coverstock as the Vendettas, a way back in this forum. If that is true, then the current Crisis does indeed use a stronger cover than the one that was my 2000 Crisis, long traded away.

Actually, the reaction of the Vendetta Black reminds me a LOT of the Ultra Hot....
