Hello. I have a question concerning the drilling of my Vendetta Black Solid. I normally play a straighter shot but am trying to learn how to play deeper inside so that I can when I need to. My Vendetta solid is drilled with the pin above and a little to the right of my ring finger with the CG in the palm, I am having trouble getting the ball to come back. So I guess my question is. Is there a drilling that will better suit the line I am trying to shoot then the one i am using now? I am right handed with ball speed between 16-17 mph and a little above medium revs. Thanks in advance for any help.

Greg7 described everything quite well, as far as I can see, right now. Bottom line is matching ball cover's surface to lane surface + oil pattern is everything. Deep inside lines need energy retention until the backend is reached, then a flip reaction. Any combination of surface, hand/revs and tilt+rotation will do the job, but the right combination.

I would agree with G7's suggestion about increased axis rotation. I decided to play a deep line this week during league. I usually throw my VBlack straight up 10 with a nice little move to the pocket. But this week I moved way-right, increasesd my axis rotation, and had my dull VBlack (500 matte) screaming back to the pocket from a breakpoint at about the 5 board. This shot with this ball and my normal release would not make it around the corner.
