Japan Cup. P.A. and the C.M.
« on: September 25, 2005, 09:46:38 AM »
Well I mistakenly deleted the first post when I reported that P.A. had used the same 2 Centrifugal Mass balls the entire tourn. Our goal was to product a strong "z" value ball that would stand up to long formats. Well this proves our theory. He used the same 2 balls with slight variations in drilling and surface prep for the entire tourn. 10 games day 1, 10 games day 2, 18 games day 3, 16 games day 4, lanes only oiled once a day. Last day he used the same ball about 13 of the 16 games. Qualified 3 and finished 4th. Our objective was to build a strong assym ball that could be used very very long into the session. This was the first PBA event it was approved for and was one of if the not the longest formats of the year. At this point I must say
I am more that satisfied with the results. I can say without any doubt that those of you that buy this ball will get exactly the performance the drill sheets say, it will last longer (soaker) and allow you to use it longer into the session than many if not all the strong assym. core balls on the market. Oh by the way it's probably less expensive too.

That is, seriously, one factor.

I bet PA wishes he would have had one of his trusty Hammers!

Prior to that he dispatched 2005 PBA Player of the Year Patrick Allen, Tarrytown, N.Y., 218-169

Another title for Hopkinsville, KY.

Never said it was a bad showing.

Congrats PA on your 4th place finish.

I just bet that if you went inside his head, he would have been wishing for one of his Hammers from last year.   Just my opinion though, and yes it is biased.

I am going to call and ask him, as soon as I talk to him, I will let you know exactly what he was thinking. Try and get that kind of service out of good ol Kentucky!

Not exactly sure what you are implying here, but I have no problem getting in contact with people at Hammer, if need be.

I have BG's email, and my DSM's personal cell phone #.  I have no problems with service from Kentucky.   They have cell phones there too.

Personally, I think he did very well, and I was happy to have him represent us.

I realize that I have been stirring the pot so after this post I will just go away, but what did you expect him to say????

"Mr. Dynothane,  boy I sure wish I would have had a Hammer to throw instead of this stuff you sent me over here with.  I could have won today with a Hammer."

C'mon, did you really think that is what you would hear?

Congrats on landing PA.  I hope he is a good ambassador for your product.

Time to sit back and watch the tour.

How much did other guy win from the bet?

I'm back.
Apparently he won the usual wager.....$1.00 of course.

I also have his number...

If you have BG's cell #, then you are 1 up on me.  I don't have that, just email.  I have my district sales manager's (DSM) cell number, not BG's.

Guy, I wasn't trying to be a smartazz, I was merely responding to your implication that you can't get good service from Kentucky.

Your forum. You win.  I will go hang out in the Hammer forum.

I was just stirring the wrong pot apparently.
