so I scored this piece
« on: September 10, 2014, 11:56:48 AM »
One of my bosses in the shop I work in allowed me to get a dyno-thane Anomaly. 1.5" pin and about 2 1/2 oz of top. Thought about doing this with a 3" pin to pap but know that this ball flares a crap load ..... any thoughts????

what about using "pill"??? or "sphere"??? lol I've heard these words used at the center... I do admit though, I've used the word "pill" until I realized it's not the same as my BP medication... ;)

5" pin

1.5" pin, 1 1/2". Kinda short but definitely usable for the layout I have in mind.

It flares a lot and you want to do a 3" pin to pap to try and get max flare? Likely a weight hole too?

May not be the end result you think.

Ruh roh Shaggy, somebody just referred to a bowling balls as a "piece".

Must be a regional type thing. A lot of folks in the DMV call a ball, a "piece". We do it all the time.

So are you maxxing the flare potiential with a 3 and 3/8x 3 and 3/8??

It was a reference to someone here with the signature line about not calling bowling balls "pieces".
