by just appearances alone....it looks like you don't untie your shoes.

Mind you, I'm not saying you do this,...I'm just telling you what the pictures look like.

woa...do you bowl with sandpaper covered socks or something?  Id contact dynothane about it.  Shoes should last a little while longer than a year, and even through heavy use shouldnt tear up like that.

my first thought was you did not untie either, but my shoes are beginning to do the same thing, no where near as bad but still starting, my next guess is they are a half size too big and your foot moves an awful lot in them
i dont personally like the fact that the liner is glued in, makes for a spot for them to tear at

That looks like water damage.  I believe (judging by the logo on the tongue) those shoes were made prior to 2003.  Where did you buy them?  Just wandering if they aren't damaged from Hurricane Katrina or from another flood damaged area and sold to you with out you knowing. I have a pair with the same logo I bought in 2002 and they still look like brand new.  I bowl on average of 5 times a week not including tournaments.  Their logo changed to ABS in 2003/04 then to Dynarooz last year (05/06).

You may have bought them last year but they were made atleast a couple years ago.  Good luck, it doesn't hurt to ask.

I have that style shoe, I have had mine 3yrs and no such wear with more than 2 nights of bowling a week so I would say you got a bum pair.

Wow!  Do you wear socks?

I've had a pair for three years and they looked like new.  I kept the show horns in them when they are in my bag, though.  I had to trade them in since the logo wasn't allowed in PBA competition anymore.

My Tour Ultras are over 3 years old.  They have the ABS logo on them.  They still look like the day I took them out of the box.  I bowl twice a week plus practice.

I raised 3 sons. Your shoes look like a typical pair of shoes for an 18 year old. I'd bet all your shoes look like that, my kids did.
