Cover Question
« on: September 14, 2006, 06:23:10 AM »
Is the 44 Magnum noticeably stronger than an AU79 with the same drill?  I need a LITTLE help for the first game in our house.  OLD wood, lots of skid first game, throwing a red/black Vendetta as hard as I can by the end of the third.

is it stronger I can't say, too many variables to consider. The Au is naturally longer and stronger solely off the numbers, but this is where the numbers don't always tell the whole story.

the 44 is earlier and should have less recovery based off the numbers, but that is where the comparison ends. The Mag  has way more recovery than I would have expected to see with a .042 diff, this is due to the tires being so strong. Au for added length, 44 for earlier roll in oil, the backend on the 44 is "sneaky strong", so don't be surprised with what you see.
