Black Vendetta Question
« on: May 07, 2004, 02:49:50 AM »
Is this comparable to the Storm Tour Power? I have a Tour Power that I use for my benchmark. And I am looking to replace it with the Black Vendetta. I am looking for a similar ball motion with a little more angle on the back end.Would this be a possible replacement or would The Thing fit better in this spot? I am only interested in Dynothane equipment so keep that in mind with your replies.

Check out all the ball reviews on the Black, and The Thing. I like the Thing as my bencmark ball. Smooth and clean through the heads with a hard finishing backend on most fresh conditions. The Black for me has the same reaction in the fronts with a little less backend than the Thing. Both surfaces can be worked easily for desired reactions...jim

Hmmm... I wouldn't consider the Vendetta Black to be anything like the Tour Power.

Actually, my Vendetta Particle Pearl is the closest thing I have to my Tour Power.  Remember, the VPP is a low load particle so all it really does is smooth out the transition from skid to roll.

I'd drill the VPP strong with the pin inside your grip, maybe a 4" x 5.5" or so to get the length and still an strong arcy backend.

Just my thoughts.
