for me this is a drilling I would use for length and medium backend reaction,..
The Au79 with a pearl shell, and large top-hat weight block will by nature go longer,...here's a couple things you might want to look at,...top weight after drilling,..top weight will make the ball go longer through the fronts, and delay reaction, drilling the fingers/thumb deeper will lower the top weight if necessary,...if that's ok, surface would be my next look,...although a pearl shell, it can still be adjusted,..what I do is during practice use a green scotch brite pad, and as I practice rub it down a little bit at a time until I see the earlier reaction I want,...or if I want to change the surface completely a trip to the spinner,..I prefer the 1000 or 2000 Abralon pads to remove all the polish and shine,..and again adjust like above in a practice session...lastly (for me) a 7/8" hole drilled in my pap will get the ball to roll earlier,..I start with 1" deep increments,..and go 1/2" deeper as required,..PM me if ya have any more questions,..jim
