Question to Phil
« on: March 02, 2004, 10:53:28 AM »
Well Mr. Cardinale, with your successful take over of Dynothane and pretty well turning the company over to change the face of Dynothane things have been going well. Some titles have been won using new Dynothane balls.

So how do you feel the last two years have shaped up?

And what is your outlook for the company for the future?

Are you pleased with the results so far, and what are your goals for the next few seasons for the company?

You post frequently here and interact alot with the members of this board, so communication with your customers is at the utmost importance to you. Honestly how often do you get a chuckle out of reading what people say on here? Lol cause some of it is just plain funny. And tony seems to be a very cool guy, you are well New Guy.

Any regrets?

Thanks for letting me pick your brain so to speak. Great line up by the way. no equipment overkill for once.

Another win with a Dyno ball, and 4 of them making tv finals.

Jaros i think will be wearing the Dynothane Label for a looooong time.

Following up on Phil's comments, anybody see in the latest BJ -

- Ebonite announces that they are cutting back on ball introductions - to stop the madness! - THAT THEY HELPED CREATE.

- The ball review column did not name a ball of the year, because there aren't any balls out there long enough to get wide acceptance before they are replaced by a new introduction.

The big companies have attempted to drive out the little guys by introducing ball after ball to try and cover every market niche ..... like big companies do in other industries.  But bowlers (hard to believe) are too smart to believe the hype ... the smaller companies like Dynothane, AZO, Lane #1, MoRich, RotoGrip etc. have their following and will survive, so I guess Ebonite, for one, is giving up their old business model.

Congrats to Phil and the entire DT staff!

PS - Phil was going to design something, but not a bowling ball, he was probably going to design a putting stroke that will hold up under pressure, unlike last year's 18th hole debacle at the Wind Watch .......

Phil, try a push stroke instead of a pendulum.  It'll hold up under pressure.

And get back to designing bowling balls....

That's right, everyone who is loyal to Dyno Thane knows that Phil is the industry ENFORCER who can work MAGIC with his products, and stands ready to SILENCE the competition, even STOMP on them, OK even NUKE them if needed ..... in the end, they will all be TKO'd by the CHAMP!

Who else is better to SENSE the HEAT when it's coming, and work to develop the SYNERGY a company needs to reach CRITICAL MASS ....

If you recall, it wasn't to miss the cut, just to miss being squad leader, which resulted in getting me matched up against the defending local Master's champion (Wally) who proceeded to drill me.  I probably would have felt better if I did miss the cut.

No five counts, but I did have a four count on a double Monday, the 24 in the first frame looked very appropriate next to my name.  Of course I made it, because converting a 3-4-6-7-9-10 is far easier than just a 10 pin.

Phil,

What about the shoes? Are you pleased this far? And do they have a place in DT's offering in the future?

The Tour Ultras are the best bowling shoes I've ever had.
