Does anyone that has them tell me the difference in the tour deluxe and the sport ultra models? I'm going to get one of the 2 to try somthing other than dexters of which my last 3 pairs have only lasted 8-12 months. Thanks

I've read the site, but all i can see different is the tour comes w/the sole w/the holes and is kangaroo and the sport is cow. Wondering what those who had each think

There really is not a big difference. They are still as comfortable and still as light weight. The only difference is about a couple cleats, that go in the cleat sole. go to dynothane.com to see

The only thing that I can add is that I have a pair of Tour Deluxes and Dexter SST-6's and if you are accustomed to using the leather sole of the SST-6 then DO NOT purchase any ABS's. They do not have a leather sole yet and do not know if and when they will have one. I bought the ABS's about a week ago and wore them at 5 different houses for a total of about 2 games. I hate them because they would not slide adequatley enough for me. I conitacted DYNO-thane and they volunteered to sell me the seperate new Adjust-a-heel, but even they advised me that they would not give the maximum slide of the SST leather heel.

what kind of sole were you using, I had the same problem at first, but just used the cleat sole with the felt inserts with the gray or white heel and slide just as much as I did with my #8 sole and leather heel on my sst 6's. I think with the tour deluxes you don't get a full set of each of the cleat soles like you do with the ultras which I have, but you can get your pro shop to order a complete set of them. They even make a full felt sole now, if you don't the cleat sole. I think that could solve your problem, so don't knock the shoes until you have actually tried some different options thats why they give you all of them.

Order a Dexter replacement sole in as large as you can find, personally size 15 work the best as ABS sole are longer than Dexters and cut them down to fit the ABS sole base.(SST5 replacements work better as they are longer soles than the 6's) It takes about ten minutes and a sharp razor blade or scissors. For heels apply powder to the top of the stud on the ABS's. Then take your favorite dexter heel and try to match it over the area. The impression left by the powder on the dexter heel is now your outline to mark and cut out. This processes takes a bit longer and also requires a exacto knife or good razor and takes about 20-30 minutes and after doing a few can be done in about 10. Hope this helps.

I have an Adjust-a-heel being sent to me directly from Dyno-thane at distributor cost as they are attempting to help with the problem. If it doesn't work, I'll try the leather sole cut down.
