USBC tournament ball
« on: March 09, 2006, 01:41:18 PM »
I will be bowling in april and would like some input
on what D/T ball to buy. I have trouble with my
equipment reading the midlane on synthetics, especially
at the nationals. I have some of my stats in my profile.
The balls I have now:
 X Factor Duece   leverage
Rule   pin on bridge line below fingers mb on val
 Super Charge   4x4
I don't want to hook the ball a lot but to read the
midlane and have a hard arc to the pocket. TIA

last 2 years I made money using a black Vendetta drilled over the label and played them going up the boards. Medium shined surface.

As good of advice as you are going to get.  Imagine a company president telling somebody that a mid-price ball would probably work the best.  I don't care if some people think you badmouth newguy, honesty over making a buck is refreshing.

Yeah. You know, I had a guy in Jackson county. He had a little drum circle in his backyard. It turned into a drum circle four miles in diameter. You get a few hippies playing drums and next thing you know, you got yourself a colony.

I'm chomping at the bit to throw D/T at the USBCs for the first time, I plan on drilling a couple new balls with some layouts I've been successful at the Nationals in the past several years.  I have the Black Vendetta on my wish list as well as a couple other D/T balls.  I probably will drill all medium balls with medium layouts.

After that, I'll have to figure out what set of golf clubs I might be taking too...  lolololololol!

I was going to nats this year as Billy and Phil's ball caddy. I was later informed I would not be permitted to drive the Hemi inside the convention center, Billy's got Flowmasters on his, the tournament officials were afraid the loud vibrations from the exhaust would break the plate glass windows. When you guys go, Phil will have a  I-HOOK booth set up beside the Dynothane booth we'll be taking franchise applications and of course down payments to process the paperwork. See you there!!!!!!

Before shelling out the fees for a franchise, I just want to know how to attract good working girls that won't give me any back-talk.  I'll lay the smack down if necessary, but would prefer not to deal with too much sas.  Will this knowledge be given or just a crash course in pimping 101?

I can send you a quick "Dealing with Little Smack or for Less", our girls will be wearing see through body suits with very small pasties, just to keep passer bys and under age children from being "insenced". There will be no smack served, during the expo,as for after in the hotel suites now that might be a different story line, LOL

I can see you're going to need our help here Nick. You give her the car and a credit card, send her off to the mall to do some shopping for herself while you do some window shopping of your own. Just tell her how bored she'll be watching and listening to shop talk and ball talk at the D/T booth. Works everytime, you're just helping her have a good time while on vacation. Think about how much fun you'll have back at eh motel room for being so "sensitive" to her needs.

We bowl May 23 and 24 but will probably get there on the 22nd or maybe even earlier.  Have to bowl in the TCBA rolloff in Grand Prarie, Texas on the 19th and 20th.  I enjoyed being in Reno myself though that was my worst showing in the tournament by FAR.  When i left I said it would make a nice parking deck.  Where do you live at tekeek?
