quote:Symetrical core balls to not lock up on a psa, they migrate to an equator that is 6 3/4 from the pin. Not to get into the smoke and mirror show some "gurus" put on but at what speed do you use to measure the time it takes to reach the psa. I'll bet the system used favors certain balls. For example a ball may need a higher spin rate to get to the pas quickly but at a lowers spin rate may take longer than another ball with a different mass bias value. Core shape matters as well. I can only advise that we not get caught up in all the hype. Let the ball performances speak for itself not the traveling magic shows. Rest assured if the mass bias was the cure all than every ball made would have strong mass bias and magically powers. Do not get confused with hype and hope. The last industry hope was particle technology and look at it now, it's not the answer to every bowlers problems. The last real hope was reactive resin and it's still going strong. There have been many hype jobs since than and in my opinion the mass bias is a hugh hype job.
