For all of those that ask about the longevity and response from a DT Soaker coverstock ball.....here's my experience from league last night.
I used a Visionary Violet Gargoyle 105 deg. layout on a THS Guardian heads wet/dry for the first two games 233-225...then as the heads broke down needed a ball with a lil more differential and hit in the 1-3 for better carry.
So, I broke out my Thing two and half years old with probably over 400 games on it. 60 deg. layout and shined 1500 with Storm Step #2. See this thread about Ric Clint asking about shining DT balls. http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=74915&ForumID=75&CategoryID=2
Moved in as the third game progressed about a board per frame on the approach and one on the lane and chased the oil depletion on the Guardian heads. Shot 297 last ball a bit slow and a bit early in the dry.
So for those that wonder what balls hold up over time this is proof of a great product with a great coverstock. How can you beat symmetrical balls with a great cover?
Thanks Phil!

Jim--I hear ya but don't have anything from DT that's laid out for a wet/dry block. Went to the Thing after pattern broke down in heads and evened out in backend.
