Post by: xxZonexx on March 24, 2005, 01:40:01 PM
I Notice this ball very greasy, and my track on this ball is really close to geather, theres no space inbetween the track lines.IT does hook but not as much as it used to could it be dead ? i have 2 of them one is pin over ring  finger and the other one is set up pin next to fingres cg straight down. The ball drilled for back end seems to not flare or soemthing some one help me lol.

I've looked and looked and can not find the thread that recommends the "Betty Crocker" method of ball maintainence. I do recall however say and I repeat strongly saying the we do not endorse the rejuvenator or any method using heat since we do not know the effect of heat on the soaker covers. Soap and water is what I suggest to everyone.

I'm going to chime in here.  DON"T BAKE SOAKERS!  If you think the ball won't hook, then put it up, and send it to me.  The Thing Returns is an arcy pearl that will hook, but it is not, repeat NOT a super hooker.  It is designed to get cleanly through lighter oil and broken down heads and give a definite, but controlled move.  It is not the best ball for high speed players.  However, it has been a very versatile pearl for ME.  If you need to clean it, use Dawn and warm water.  Also, resurfacing it helps -- alot.

Phillip,
Have we reached the broken record syndrome. How many times do we have to say the same things. Thanks for keeping an eye on it....
