thing vs. element vs. Hammer Vicious Reactive
« on: May 19, 2003, 06:15:54 PM »
I am considering picking up an Element or Thing to replace my Vicious Reactive, and have a couple of questions...  (I'm a tweener, play straighter, 16 mph, high track)

1.  If drilled the same (typically I drill variations of stacked leverage), how do the Element and Thing compare?  Especially if the Element has some polish on it.

2.  How do they compare to my Vicious Reactive?  I like the Vicious at my home house, wood, med oil, good backends.  But at tournaments with dirtier backends, synthetics with med to heavier oil, and at Nationals as well, my Vicious never performed well on the backend and didn't cover as many boards as hoped.  I was hoping to replace it with a Thing or Element, especially on synthetics for better backend performance.

Thanks for any input!
