Dyno-Thane 4Ball Roller
« on: February 04, 2005, 01:54:50 AM »
I wish they would make a inline 4ball bag. I throw mostly all D/T now and love it, but I still use my Storm/Rolling Thunder 3Ball bag. I want to buy a D/T roller, but I really want to upgrade to a 4ball. I think I'll hold out for a while and see if they start making 4ball rollers. I would definatly buy one. What do you guys think?

brotha, I have ben trying to get a 4 ball roller out of Billy and the gang for years now. If they continue with out one...just get the patches and stitch over your bag. I have 2 locals who now have DT 4 ball wheelers. They actually had a dt logo made big enough to cover the storm Logo!

With our arsenal you should only need 1 tote and a spare ball you'd use on occasion. real men use totes!!!):

That's true if you are bowling on the soft lane conditions of San Antonio.  Up here on Long Island, where honor scores are very rare, we need 4, 6, even 8 ball rollers to be competitive.

Well I have a 3 ball roller and a 2 ball tote already. I have 6 balls I like to take b/c lately we've been having a drier shot but next week it may go back to a flood. I just don't know what to expect anymore since our lane machine is screwing up. I don't want a 6 ball roller though b/c to bulky. I also don't think many of you "Real men" would like to carry 3- 2ball totes around. I want a 4ball roller and then keep using my 2ball tote. I don't need to prove my manly strength by carrying 100lbs. of bowling equipment on my shoulders every night.

Maybe there aren't many honor scores on Long Island because you can't bowl?

I've tried ALL combinations,..and by far the best for me has been 2 three ball rollers,..the best for travel, trunks, extra storage for junk,..and mobility.
I've always disliked the 4-6 ball rollers with the handles that stick up,..and bend and break...plus they fit no-where in the car,..and flying is out of the question....je

Actually, I agree with Jim. Although I did fly with a six roller on Air-Tran (they have the best checked luggage policy), your best bet in two three-ball rollers. Most of the PBA guys used that at the Masters. They do store the best all most areas and have plnety of room for other equipment.

I rely on moving my feet, they are much lighter than a 3 ball bag and they have more versatility than changing equipment. If that fails I try moving my hand position it is even lighter than the feet.
Long Island is the scoring capitol of the world now ( when I lived there they were impossible, thus I was a great bowler)
Just kidding !! (about the bags ) not the scoring on Long Island. We do not have anything larger than a 3 baller cause it's not a very profitable market and the inventory investment is not a wise business decision. Some bowling exec. still do apply logical business sense. I tend to think I am still one of them. Thanks for the support.
By the way prince, well see how much talent you have the weekend of the 26th. I hope my back and knees hold up under all the pressure of carrying you butt all those games.

The scoop is that the key to this tournament is to have a good old guy, just like the key to mixed doubles is to have a good girl.  I am living proof of this axiom.

I plan on gaining 10 lbs in the next two weeks so start working out.

PS - Real men with surgically repaired backs use wheelies.
