Both single drills
Threshold has 2-2.5 pin and span is 4 11/16. Has thumb slug intsalled, no grips. Pin below fingers with 60 degree layout. Only has 4 games on ball. Hits very hard, keeps pins low for improved carry. Like new condition no nicks/scratches. $80 + shipping.
Thing Returns fully plugged single drill with 3" pin and fresh surface. Excellent ball in great condition. Has 3 small nicks just above thumb plug otherwise perfect shape. Great ball with above average length and sharp back end reaction. Pearl Soaker cover = proven longevity. $45 + shipping.

Wow..this is the first time anyone has bothered to post a picture of the Threshold after I asked several times. Thanks! By the way, why are you selling it after 4 games?

I already have other equipment that has very similar reaction. I am more comfortable with the other balls as I have been using them all summer and they are soakers. Nothing wrong with the ball just not what I expected.

Just curious...what did you expect and what did you get out of that drill on it?

Wanted a good control ball for heavy side of medium to heavy oil. All the talk had it as the strongest ball Dynothane ever produced so I went with a 60 degree layout instead of a 75. This moved the CAP closer to the VAL to tame down the back end. This ball is slightly earlier than my CM with a more controlled move off the dry. I think it would be a good tournament ball but I already have a CM and AU79 that cover those conditions. I don't want to plug and redrill as I am getting ready to start bowling Regional Tournaments and PBA doesn't like plugged equipment. I could plug it with clear plug but I would rather sell and try something different.
This ball and a ZR40 would make a great 1-2 punch for difficult tournament conditions. Throw in a 44 Mag and polyester for spares and you could cover about anything you come across for most local/state association tournaments.
Hope that helps.
