Vendetta Maxx
« on: March 17, 2005, 02:03:13 PM »
The Maxx is a looker.. I drilled mine up with my favorite drill. Neg. Label.
I went out on the lanes with a bit of carry down. The ball reacted clean and is much better than I expected. The carry was really good. I kept leaving 8 pins...

I decided to try it on a fresh pair. ...I had to move left and give it some room of the corner. It matches really well to me Vendetta Black. I will test a bit more and let you all know. I will end up putting a bit of shine on the ball. I reacted more like a reactive to me than a particle blend..

Scores...248  and 257

Glad to hear that the particle will remain a "resin look" as far as ball path, I can't deal with early hookers so this is good news.

Sorry...didn't think to take a camera with me to the shop tonight.  Ball is a nice deep blue/red ball...very nice!!!

Drilled the ball with a 4 x 3 with the pin under my ring finger.  My house has been putting down a heavier concentration of oil in the middle of the lane lately and forcing most people into the track area.  But due to the amount of oil on the lane it becomes touchy out there.  This ball really got into a nice roll in the slop and gave a nice readable move towards the hole.  Really am impressed with the ball thus far...but it's early yet.  Need to try it against my Thing Lives...but that ball is drilled weaker so it's not a true test.
