Vendetta Part - Pearl vs The Thing
« on: December 02, 2006, 12:14:32 AM »
I just recently got a Vendetta Part - Pearl NIB, it has a 3-3.5 inch pin with about 3 ounces of top weight.  Now I also have a Thing drilled with Pin over the ring and the CG swung out.  This is my favorite layout.  So if I drilled the Vendetta the same way, will I get a different reaction?

You should.

The coverstocks are different and the cores are very different. The balls should be different enough.

BUT REMEMBER that house blends have a tendency to mask differences between balls. So before you jump to any conclusions after comparing them once, remember to test them on 2 or 3 different lane surface  oil pattern combinations.

I concure, they are different animals, but a good combo regardless, with the correct layouts can make a good 1-2 punch.
