Just Bought the Vendetta Black Solid Today...
« on: June 16, 2004, 06:46:38 AM »
I was wondering, those of you who own one, what's your favorite drilling on the Vendetta Black Solid.  I heard and saw good things about/from this ball.  I have a few ideas on layouts, but wanted to pick some brains....  Especially you "ska-lars" from Dynothane.
Thanks...,

Dann

DANN,..there's some good reads in the reviews on this ball, they may enlighten your thinking process. I've had a few drilled a couple different ways, and this ball seems to respond to them all. What I like best is the cover stock. It can be used from High-Gloss to your favorite dull. My favorite drill and cover (so far) is glossed, 5 1/2 x 4, with the 2 1/2"pin under my middle finger, and the CG on the span midline below the ring finger, a balance hole 3" below my pap about 13/16", 2" deep brougt the pos sw back to about 1/4 oz pos. This has been a great answer for the dreaded dry track with carry down that I see in the latter tournament games/blocks. With the pin lower it gives this a real good mid-lane rev, and gloss comes of the dry nicely, with out a jerky midlane/backend. jim

try this

fingers above the pin and cg swung right to half positive and no extra hole...shine the ball up to 1200 degress polish and watch out. As of date: this drill and ball combination has been my best on pba summer league.. matching up great to pattern A and C.. while struggling on B
