Vendetta Sniper Layout
« on: August 01, 2005, 10:39:20 AM »
I'm getting ready to order a Vendetta Sniper and have a question about layout and reaction as compared to my vendetta black.  I'm a righty and the black is laid out with pin below middle with cg about a half inch kicked out.  Pin is about 2-3 inches.  Im thinking about getting the Sniper drilled the same but before i do that I was curious as to what kind of reaction i would get compared to the black.  The black is sanded to 1000 smooth.  I'm wanting to have the sniper start moving at the same time but to be a more aggressive ball.  If you could give me help I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Nick

Thankyou.  That's exactly what I was hoping.  I appreciate it very much.  I love the vendetta line.  Was just hoping this would fit in because i dont want something as aggressive as the Maxx.  Thanks.

Well I'm not sure how your Maxx is set-up, but from what I saw last night through my Sniper it needs a bit more head oil than the Maxx...atleast in box condition.  I plan on adjusting the surface of mine just a hair to compensate.

Chris, I put my new Maxx and Sniper side by side and the Sniper has a way more fuzzy texture in box... However, the literature says 600 wetsand for Maxx and 2000 wetsand for Sniper... Anyone else seeing this on the lanes? I am getting ready to punch them soon for leagues.
