can't say enough....
« on: January 08, 2004, 06:40:27 PM »
I've got all the D/T balls, and the Things are my tournament "bread and butter" balls,...but these Vendettas are amazing. Last night I decide in my Thur Night Classic league that I'll use my Red/Blk cause it hadn't seen much action in a while. I realize we're bowling on a typical "easy" house-shot, so hitting the pocket is not that much of a challenge. I shoot 300-237-258, stubborn 10 pin in the last game cost me 800,...but this ball is amazing on a house shot. This ball flat out strikes, doesn't jump off the dry, and holds on the tug shots. I didn't move more than 4-5 boards all night. These have to be the best balls on the market for the performace per dollar...

When the ball was shipped out the street name was left off the package.

OK, then HOW DID THE QUOTE BELOW HAPPEN........?

quote:
my oldest son, same name as me, he's a Jr., calls me while I'm in SanAntonio, and tells me that a lady across town calls him and tells him that a bowling ball was dropped off on her door( for no reason), with his name on it,...

If the street name was left off and a MICHIGAN state and zip code, how does it wind up in another state ???

quote:
He leaves work and goes and gets the ball. It's the Anomaly, dropped off at her house. I'm out of town, my son calls and tells me that he has this ball..etc..etc... and I explain the fiasco,..I'm pissed about the UPS folks just leaving the ball across town, and the whole ball thing. I tell him that it will be a while before I can come get,...he says not to worry, that it fits. At that time I told him to just keep it...

But, what about Mojo ???  Regardless of the great gesture, (if I remember correctly in another post, this was a 'shipping only' offer from Jim) wasn't it promised to Mojo?  Sorry, this doesn't make sense.......

To answer your question "what about mojo?"  He did state in his message that he would try to get me something else or another Anomaly.

Who the?  How the?  What the ?????

And that's cool! However, if the ball came back and it was promised to you, I would have just re-addressed it and sent it to you........that's all, no biggie
