The Thing Returns...???

After getting it plugged and redrilled my operator managed to sand the top half of the ball dull.  I'd like to bring it back to OOB.

I'm with LH20.  Since, the Thing Returns was made before the FEPA grades were used it would be 1000US polished.

Check with newguy to know for sure.

I would guess so normally also, EXCEPT I learned that the "1500 grit" to which Track''''s Clean and Smooth finishes balls is FEPA grade and that compound came out a long time before Abralon and long before the Thing Returns was released!!

I'm just going with a light sanding with a gray pad and Resurrection to finish it off.  I like the way it rolls now and don't want it to be much different.  I'll just polish it with Snake Oil afterwards.

For me this is the strangest, earliest rolling pearl I have and I thought the Awakening was early.
