I've had this ball now going on 5-6 months, see review for specs. Last night in our Classic late league we had a unusual amount of oil. I later found out that the mechanic did a complete overhaul of the oil machine, and now it's putting out more than before,...anyway in this league because of the normal fast lane oil break down I use my Ven Black/Red and chase the oil line all night. I started with the R/B and in practice I thought something was a little fishy, but stayed with it just the same, figured it was just me...duh. First 2 frames 2-8 then a 2-4-10,...huh.? What's up with that.? struggled the rest of the way and finished with a lucky 215 game. All of us on the pair have now come to the conclusion that there's a flood out there, and it ain't moving...In the bag with the B/R and out with THE THING, back to back 250s and everyone else is still fishing...what a great ball. Learned a couple things, don't always expect the "same ole shot" to be the same ole shot,..and when the lanes tells ya one thing,...believe them...I may have sold a Thing or two after that.

TS,..I agree, in the 2 leagues I bowl, I like to mix up what I use every week, I'll use any of 6 different balls, just depends on which one I pull out. Lately I've been really given the Vendettas a work out, because in the tournaments I bowl I need to be able to cross the house, and stay consistant, the Black and the Ven Pearl Particles get a lot of use out there, smooth arcing and easy to read. I hardly ever see the oil or OB that I saw last night, except on early squads, and then not for very many games. You're right the THING is the first ball I pick up,...the lanes just won't let me stay with it all day,  because mine don't like the dry heads. On oil this ball, for me, gives my game the best look of all the DynoThanes,...je
