Which is stronger?

The Anomaly or The Thing Lives?  I am assuming they both have their box finish and are drilled exactly alike.

Seems to me I recall reading right here on a ballreviews forum, that the Thing Lives is considered by Dyno-Thane administration/management to be what the Anomaly did not "work out to be" (My phraseology; can't recall exactly how it was expressed.) ????

The Thing Lives will cover more boards if drilled the same, but the Anomaly is not a weak ball by any means. Some people did not like the Anomaly and it got a bad rep. that was'nt deserved. It is a strong ball and will cut through more oil than my Thing Lives, but the TL covers way more boards. It's got alot to do with finding a coverstock prep that fits your game and the lane conditions.

So you're saying the Anomaly will cut through more oil than The Thing Lives?  The Anomaly is 1000 grit out of the box while The Thing Lives is 800 grit out of the box.

Anomaly is the soaker and the TL is the newer soaker X coverstock. From my personal experience, yes the Anomaly (at 1000 grit) will cut through more oil than the TL(at 800 grit). My Anomaly starts sooner and has a very nice arc to it. Very controllable ball! The TL goes a little longer and then has a way stronger move to the pocket. Both are excellent balls. I have a second Anomaly on the way as we speak. I also have had 2 different TL and ended up selling one of them b/c I can just adjust the coverstock on these to have totally different reactions. Very versatile ball! Get one of each and you'll never regret it.
