Description: Most sports require the attributes of a warrior and bowling is no exception. This is why Ebonite has created a ball called Warrior. This ball was designed to be a polished ball the reads the mid-lane with aggression and carries through the backend with with strength like no other Ebonite High Performance polished ball before.  The Iron Fist core is covered with the GB 13.3 coverstock and finished with polish to create this intended reaction.

  A quick look a the numbers and we have a low rg(2.47), high diff ball(.057). The last time Ebonite had these kind of numbers, balls like the One, and the Playmaker were the balls to own. In the shop both moved off the shelves with ease.
  Too put an emphasis on the low rg, I drilled mine pin down. I have a EB. Source in my bag with this exact layout and have always loved the roll on shorter house patterns or PBA patterns such as Cheetah.
  Left the Warrior at box and tossed a few shots on some fresh 39' THS. Found myself at 3rd arrow and this ball had energy for days. Had a board or 2 in either direction, but could see playing with surfaces to adjust for a bowlers speed, slow or fast, to help control the movement of the ball.
  Alot of the low to med RPM players are going to like this ball due to its low rg and the ease of getting this ball to change direction. If your a tournament player, and  depending on how you drill it I could see this ball in play all day. A pin up ball would help put emphasis on the pearl cover and I could see this being an excellent late block choice.

GB 13.3 Pearl
Ebonite’s brand new GB 13.3 Pearl cover is Ebonite’s most aggressive coverstock. Ebonite started with the original chemistry of the proven GB 10.7 and dramatically increased the porosity levels to aggressively displace oil which gives the GB 13.3 cover the ability to read the mid-lane and backend stronger than any of our other covers.
 
NEW Iron Fist Core
Everyone knows how a ball responds at the breakpoint and goes through the pins determines how high your scores will be. What most don’t realize is without the proper motion from the mid-lane to the breakpoint, the rest just doesn’t happen. In designing the Iron Fist core, this is the area we focused on the most.
We wanted a shape that would help the Warrior create that defined motion from the mid-lane to the breakpoint, which is so crucial in developing great performing products. Once the shape was determined, we fine-tuned the densities of the core system to give us the right combination of Rg’s and Differentials. The end result is we’ve developed the perfect core design to match with the perfect coverstock.

The Warrior was impressive from the very first shot.  I have been waiting for a pearl ball from Ebonite that strongly reads the midlane and continues at the back.  The Warrior has filled that need.  What an impressive ball!
I have used this ball on a variety of patterns, lane surfaces, different volumes of oil, etc.  It is one of those balls that is versatile in all environments.  I had to touch the surface on higher volumes and longer patterns. Once the cover was modified, the ball motion returned to the same strong midlane and continuous return.  The challenge with all pearl high performance bowling balls is controlling the first phase of ball motion, the skid phase.  Most pearl balls extend the skid phase too far, resulting in no midlane

 COMMENTS
 I used the above drill pattern on the recommendation of one of Ebonite’s Demo Day leaders.  This drilling has been used on tour in the past to increase continuation through the pins.  All I can say is WOW!  This ball is crazy strong off the spot with devastating hitting power.  It turns the corner in a way that gives me a look on the lanes that I have had a hard time creating in the past.  I can send the ball away from the pocket and have the confidence that it will make it back and carry. It’s excellent on a house shot as well as sport patterns.  The traction in the mid-lane is surprising for a polished ball.  If you’re rev challenged like me, this ball is a must have.

COMMENTS
Likes: Glad to have this ball in my bag.  Its a high performance pearl ball and it rolls pretty sweet.  This ball rolls and reacts the same every time.  If I miss left off my hand, it still has the same roll and I know what its going to do.  a good ball to have with a lot of hitting power.   Its so responsive down lane and still gets into that sweet roll through the mids.

I will say I can really open the lane up with the Warrior their is no quit in this ball and when it finds the friction and or the end of the pattern it is not going to stop going left (or right if your left handed).  I have had to make one and two board adjustments after about four or five shots using the Warrior because the nine pin was going out late or the four pin was tripped.  The Warrior can be a little early which holds true to the Warrior touching friction and wanting to make its move.  This is a great ball to try and create an angle or if another ball isn’t making that sharp movement (depending on the layout) the Warrior is going to make that sharp movement and it will be continuous.
