This ball I drilled exactly the same as my black GB2.  From my experience so far, it is about 3 boards stronger than the Original GB2 but sill not quite as angular as the GB2 Gold.  The new hybrid covers that Ebonite have been puting out are very versatile which is good for me because I bowl on a wide variety of patterns and lane surfaces.  If you liked the GB2 and the GB2 gold, you will definitely like this ball as well.

This ball has certainly made it's way in to my arsenal.  I loved my Gamebreaker 2 so I just had to give this one a try and it did NOT disappoint.

I needed something in my bag that was going to be early rolling, yet strong and this ball fits that for me.

It's currently drilled with the pin above the ring finger, fairly basic drilling. I have my surface around 2000 and this ball ROCKS!   It's just what I need in my hands when the backends are a little crispy as I like to say.... this tames down that backend motion but still saves energy to go through the pins.

 COMMENTS
The GameBreaker 2 MVP is a tremendous addition to the GameBreaker family.  The GB2 and GOLD complimented each other very well, but at times it seemed the GB2 was a bit early (too smooth at the back) and the GOLD too long and angular.  The MVP solved this issue.  I find the MVP to be more of a bench mark ball than the original GB2.  The hybrid cover is much cleaner in the front part of the lane but reads the midlane strong and still gives you the strong backend.  I have used it on a variety of volumes, lengths and surfaces.  It performs and is very versatile in all environments.  Its’ name (MVP) tells the story – outstanding performance in all competitive environments. 

The GameBreaker2 MVP took a while for me to get use to.  When I first started using it, I think I may have been trying to get it to work on a pattern that was too slick for what I wanted to see out of the ball motion.

I had seen a number of guys around me ( big paw guys ) have major success with it, so I didn't want to give up on it just yet, but with how much I had fallen in love with the Track Legion Solid and the Columbia300 Swerve F/X, I almost wrote this one off as just not being for me.

Then, one night, I took it to league with me on an old wood surface and ... woozers did it look good.   After having a bit of success with it that night, I decided to toss it in the bag for the next week as well and, boom, more success.

This ball, now that I have a better idea of what to expect from it, gives me the smooth and clean look through the front part of the lane, similar to the black GB2, but it is much stronger once it changes directions.  Rather than the nice, smooth, controllable motion of the original GB2, the MVP gives me a much stronger down-lane reaction.

If you're looking for something that will get through the fronts pretty easily, yet continue to 'go' once it flips, I highly recommend this ball for your needs.
