Ebonite Choice Pearl
The choice continues to be easy, with the Ebonite Choice Pearl bowling ball. Ebonite took the proven Centrex Symmetrical Mass Bias core and adjusted the shape to lower the differential and introduce the Mod-1 Core. This core creates easy length through the front of the lane and allows for great continuation down lane. The Choice Pearl combines this core with the GSV-1 Pearl coverstock which is a decendent of the coverstocks used in the successful Game Breaker series of bowling balls. This high performance bowling ball is a great choice when you need a ball that will provide easy length on heavy oil. This ball flips hard when it sees friction and provides awesome pin action.

Color: Aqua/Violet/White
All colors do vary somewhat from the picture shown
Coverstock: GSV-1 (Good Stuff Version 1) Pearl
Core: Mod-1
Finish: 500/1000 Abralon Polished w/Powerhouse Factory Finish Polish
RG: 2.49 (for 15# ball)
Differential: 0.054 (for 15# ball)
Recommended Lane Condition: Medium to Heavy Oil
Reaction: Length with Aggressive Backend

This is probably one of my favorite pearl bowling balls Ebonite has released since the Pivot Point.  It has a very strong backend reaction and tons of hitting power.  This has been my go to ball in league as it does not seem to be affected by the larger volumes of oil in the middle of the lane.  I can start a bit right with this ball and easily follow the transition left.  If you were a fan of the choice then this will be another great ball selection.

Likes:  Midlane Read, Clean through front, deceptively strong backend, not a boomer

Dislikes:  Box surface somewhat sensitive to carrydown/eveolution of oil pattern

Beginning of league season this was the 1st ball out of my bag.  Cleaner in front than solids but not skiddy enough to be wet/dry on fresh.  Replaced Tactix solid in that spot. cleaner than the Tactix, equally as consistent, more on the back.  It would eventually burn up as pattern changed, but with 5 x 4 layout i was able to stay with it for 2+ plus games in most cases before having to change.  Hit was pretty good, carry good compared to other HP pearls.  I'm really a fan of this block, loved all the Choices.

A good ball for slower speed bowlers playing direct or slow wheeling it - higher rev guys can get recovery with consistency playing deeper in as long as the pattern will hold it....Hope this helps..
