Hey all;

This ball is the best Matrix out there,and I shot some big scores the the first couple. But back to the ball,The pearl particle shell on this ball has to be the most adaptable coverstock on the market.

With the shell of the ball "out of the box" this thing feared no carrydown and still alowed you to get the thing thru the heads.

Polished the ball with 800 grit grey scuff pad,you favorite polish and WOW, now I can play the oil line in most of are local wally world lane conditions.

In compared to the Matrix TPS I and II the III will start rolling sooner without the tendancy to squirt on the carrydown. I have had three clean sets (4game sets) and have been clean the whole time. Even though this ball has a great motor in it (core), It has great readability(if thats a word) and consistancy plus repeatability.

WOW!!! What a WONDERFUL Particle ball. This hunter green pro active or particle is a awesome choice for your heavier oiled patterns. What I truly like about this ball is the way it turns on the backends for such a early breakpoint. Usually balls that hook early or rev early tend to quit by the time the ball turns up to the pocket, not this one, it keeps coming and coming. The only down fall to this ball is that it's need oil, like most if not all particle balls. I drilled this ball with my favorite layout a 4" pin by a 270 degree mass bias or small pin at a 12 o'clock position. Again, hats off the Ebonite for their continued work to produce the best balls in the industry. They have a winner in this one if you need something for oily lanes. It's the only dull ball that I can still have recovery from an inside angle. Thanks to Brian Persel from Ebonite for his hard work and support. First off I'll say that out of the box this is a VERY strong ball. If yo udo not have enough speed or oil this ball will die...period.

This is a very aggressive core with a very porous cover. No meg-exotic drillings are needed for track flare on this puppy.

This ball flared and hooked more than my NightHawk Torque, El Nino X-it

and SuperPower combined. Simply too much ball for me.

Got oil and no hand ? This is the ball for you. Remember though....you have to have warp 9 ball speed if there isnt enough oil out there.

hi

i got this ball a couple of weeks ago.

pin at 2-3 and 3/5 oz of top weight. i drilled this ball with the third pattern on the drill sheet; early flip, max hook in oil. i was bowling on a top hat condition with the edge of the oil at 10. my style is; 25 km/h, above average revs. i can stand any where on the lane and this ball will keep homing in on the hole. this ball crushes the pocket like no other ball. i find that this ball workes better when there are less revs on the ball and i shoot the boards.

this ball is very controlled and will hold a shot for many games. i have put about 30-40 games on this ball and there is hardly a scratch on it. still works like new.

this ball will be good for most any type of bowler. i can wind it up and it is very controlled. i can shoot the boards and it is consistant. and i can go somewhere inbetween those and it is just as consistant. i give this ball a 9 out of 10.

This one has an interesting story behind it. I copied the drilling from a friends Pro Purple buzzsaw. This drilling gives me some serious hook in the midlane which is sometimes hard for me to accomplish due to my high speed. Anywho on to the review:

I have shot 5 games with this so far and am averaging 237 with it. The first to games were on heavy carrydown from one night of extreme bowling and a bantam/prep league. This ball is a hook monster. It was hooking more in all the carrydown than anything else I have does on a fresh shot. It gets through the heads very smooth and turns in the midlane. I love this reaction, it turns and continues to roll through the pins with devestating power. The last 3 games were on fresh oil, by increasing my speed i was able to tame this ball down somewhat. I was standing 25, crossing 12, out to the 3 board and just destroying the rack. Definitely the first ball out of the bag provided there is some oil out there. A another winner from ebonite.

i just started my school league and i am dominating over all the competiton. this ball is awsome. i have to play a disturbing outside line with it because south levittown soaked the lanes. and this ball hooks, make no mistakes if you want a big hooking ball this is it.i shot at least one 200 game all but 2 days and i am a 170 bowler.this ball rocks

I left this ball dull out of the box. Drilled with a 1" pin from PAP. Good with a lot of oil when you need to play up the boards. With this layout the ball is very predictable and stays on line all the way down the lane. With this drilling for me I can't give the pocket away.

I have the Apex, 2001 Black Hammer, Storm Trauma, and a few mid-priced equipment, but on carrydown this ball is my pick. Because of it's unbelievable ability to carry in carrydown. If you're going to get it polish it though. It just doesn't have any legnth with out it.

I got this as a second hand ball so i did not get to choose the pin placement or have the option to choose my top weight. I had the pin next to the ring finger, and even though it was only fifteen pounds, this ball h.i.t.s. I didn't get early revving action, but once this ball hits the back end it takes off. This ball never deflects. I use this ball on the fresh house pattern, and i choose it over my other three balls: Storm X-Factor Deuce, Ebonite Vortex II, and Coulmbia Complete Chaos. This is one awesome ball.

I got this ball from my brother-in-law since he didn't think that this is a good ball. But this ball has a ton of backend. Dulled or polished i've had the surface on this ball both dulled and polished and either way its got a ton of backend. At state tournament i shot a 284, 210 and 191 for a 686. This ball is good if u want to play outside when theres a lot of oil inside and is great when theres a lot of oil outside and u have to play inside.
