Hello everyone. I have thrown the Game Plan a lot now and feel like I can give a pretty honest review of the ball.
Like many other people have said on this forum I strongly recommend stripping off the polish out of box with say a 1000 pad and then re-applying factory finish polish.
In my case I hit mine with 500, 1000, then applied the polish.
I was really anticipating this release as I absolutely loved the Lane Breaker. The only difference is the cover which I would consider slightly weaker.
The reaction is very comparable to my Lane Breakers. This is my "go to" ball or better known as the benchmark ball. I can tell what I need to do by throwing it 2 or 3 times. From there I'll know if I need a stronger or weaker core/cover combo.
I have thrown my Game Plans on the Chameleon, Scorpion, and Cheetah and THS. I really don't see a condition where this ball couldn't match up. I have found that it takes cover adjustments easily and I can use my favorite drillings with this one.
Layouts:
PAP: 4 1/4 over, 5/8 up.
Game Plan 1: 50 X 5.5 X 70 with a hole in the P4 position.
Game Plan 2: 60 x 5.5 x 70 with no hole.
I bowl on a lot of high friction surfaces and patterns so I typically use 5-5.5 inch pins combined with higher angle totals.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
When you successfully implement a Game Plan you're on the right path to WIN!
