COMMENTS
Carry - Ball gets out the corners very well. Just have to be careful for those pesky 9 pins.
Likes - Ball is a hybrid, yet is super clean through the heads and skid flip
Dislikes - Ball is some times hard to control and leaves funky splits when my speed gets slow
Other - Ball is great for shorter patterns, haven't had a chance to throw it on any long patters.

In terms of total hook, the ball is very similar to the Dv8 Too Reckless. The only difference is that the Elevate is much more skid flip. I like this ball when moving in and swinging the lane from left of 30 on a short pattern. On a house shot the ball hooks so much, that all you have to do is stand left and throw right. For me, there just has to be enough oil to throw it.

Likes: WOW What a great ball. Just purchased this ball today in needing something to slide through the oil better than my Storm. If you want a ball that will strike HARD in the pocket this is the one. I shot two sets today with it with a 727 right out of the gate just drilled on synthetic lanes with a house pattern. Then shot a 744 on wood lanes with a block pattern. Again I have never thrown a ball like this one that doesnt lose too much momentum rolling through the oil and really rocking through the pins. Absolutely love this ball for another option.

Ebonite Elevate

I am more of a down and in player and when the backends are really strong or the heads burn to fast, as I move further into the lane, my corner carry percentage decreases. The Elevate allows me to keep my target in front of me and has a smooth, clean continuous roll to the pocket. As the ball clears the heads of the lane, the Elevate holds it's energy and gives a controllable continuous roll to the pins.

The Elevate is very easy to read on the lanes and is a perfect choice for a bowler's arsenal. It provides the smooth constant roll to the pocket that many bowlers are looking for!!

I drilled my staff ball 60 x 4 1/2 x 70 and left it at box surface. This is the weakest ball in my bag. It is stronger in the fronts than the Cyclone but weaker off the spot. The Cyclone has a more defined move off the back and lets you get in a little deeper on the lane. This ball wants to go straight and its a great ball for it. A very good option for straighter players and high rev guys looking for a weaker option.
